Abundance

This month's theme is abundance.

I'm offering a class right now entitled, "Isn't it time you learned to meditate". As I have pulled together resources and knowledge from a variety of people and experts regarding why we should meditate, how we should meditate and when we should meditate, I have found that many issues in our lives would not exist if we had a foundation of meditation. These issues could be physical, emotional, behavioral or spiritual dis - eases. Having any of these issues create lives in which we don't feel honored, loved, respected and in general we don't feel very abundant.

As I really get into the groove of consistent meditation I am discovering a calmness as I go about my days. I believe that it reflects my time in meditation. I am sorta anxious by nature, ask anyone who knows me, so this is a real change! Being anxious is such a distant memory that it is hard to believe I ever was, about anything. This is a real gift. What I've found is that now that I'm calm I can really feel a deep joy. This joy is so overwhelming at times I can hardly contain myself. I want to share it with everyone - and I'm sure I'm just one big grin! The closest I can come to explaining it is that it feels so wonderful and so big and so powerful that I feel as though I might burst out of my skin.

So when I start thinking about abundance I'd have to say that having joy is abundance to me! It effects all areas of my life. It allows for a range of feelings to naturally come and go. I feel connected with a power that keeps me flowing throughout the day and night. And in my work I calmly know that the right way will present itself, the right words, the right actions.

Tell me your experiences with meditation, abundance and joy.
